All sizes are the canvas dimensions (width × height), before the frame. A floating frame adds a few centimetres on each side.

A painting looks balanced when it is about two-thirds of the width of the sofa or bed beneath it.
Hang it so its centre sits roughly 145 cm from the floor, with 15 to 25 cm between the sofa back and the bottom of the frame.

Hand-painted, made to order

Every Palmers Art piece is painted by hand once your order comes in. No prints, no reproductions: the brushstrokes and texture on your canvas are unique to your piece, which is why two paintings of the same design are never exactly identical.

Materials

Artist-grade acrylics on linen canvas
Frames: solid wood floating frame, hand-assembled, hanging hardware included

Finishes

Rolled canvas: the painting alone, rolled in a protective tube. Ideal if you have your own framer.
Stretched canvas: mounted on a wooden stretcher bar, edges painted, ready to hang.
Framed: stretched canvas set in a floating frame, ready to hang. Available in Black, White, Wood grain, Silver champagne and Antique gold.

How it works

You place your order.
Our artists paint your piece (1 to 2 weeks).
We email you a photo of your finished painting for approval.
Once you approve it, it is carefully packed and shipped with tracking. Delivery to the UK takes 7 to 10 days from the day you approve the photo (or, if we do not hear back, from the end of the 3-day approval window).

Allow about 3 weeks in total from order to delivery.

Damaged or faulty on arrival

Please check your painting as soon as it arrives. If it is damaged in transit, faulty, or not as shown in the photo you approved, email us within 72 hours of delivery with a few photos. We will replace it or refund you, and the return is free: we send you a prepaid label.

Changed your mind

You have 30 days from delivery to return your piece, provided it is unused and in its original packaging. Contact us first so we can give you the return address and instructions. As each painting is made to order:

return shipping is at your expense, using a tracked or signed-for service;
we refund the painting to your original payment method within 5 working days of receiving it.

See it before it ships

We email you a photo of your finished painting. Nothing leaves the studio until you have approved it.

Arrives safe, or it's on us

Every piece is packed for transit and fully insured. Damaged or faulty on arrival? Send us photos within 72 hours: replacement or refund, free return.

30-day returns

Not right for your space once it's on the wall? You have 30 days from delivery to send it back. Return shipping (tracked or signed-for) is at your expense; we refund the painting.

How long will it take to receive my painting?

Each piece is hand-painted to order, which takes 1 to 2 weeks. Once you have approved the photo of your finished painting, delivery to the UK takes a further 7 to 10 days. Allow about 3 weeks in total. You will receive a tracking number by email as soon as it ships.

What happens if I don't reply to the approval photo?

We will send you a reminder. If we have not heard back within 3 days of the reminder, we ship your painting so that it is not delayed, and the 7 to 10 day delivery time runs from that day. You can still return it under our 30-day policy.

Is this a print or a real painting?

A real painting. Every Palmers Art piece is painted by hand with acrylics on canvas. We do not sell prints or reproductions, so the texture and brushstrokes on your canvas are unique to your piece.

Which finish should I choose?

Rolled canvas is the painting alone, shipped in a tube, for people who prefer to use their own framer. Stretched canvas comes mounted on a wooden frame with painted edges, ready to hang. Framed adds a floating frame in the finish of your choice, also ready to hang. Most customers choose framed for a finished, gallery look.

Can I return it if it doesn't suit my space?

Yes. You have 30 days from delivery to return it, as long as it is unused and in its original packaging. Because each piece is made to order, return shipping (tracked or signed-for) is at your expense; we then refund the painting. If it arrives damaged or faulty, that is different: send us photos within 72 hours and we replace or refund it, with a free return.
